The Street Smart Internship program was created to address the lack of job opportunities encountered by many of our older youth. The purpose of the internship program is to provide paid training to up to 4 at-risk young adults, ages 18-21, for a total of 10 months.

Interns receive the following:
•Hands-on training as a youth peer counselor and/or administrative assistant
•Supportive services (housing, transportation and academic support, counseling services)
•Weekly in-service job training and career exploration

The Internship program offers young adults with an experiential opportunity to develop work skills and work ethics, strengthen their functional living skills, and positively add to their resumes.
